		<description>No herb is harmful in and of itself - it&#039;s the misuse of the herb.  I agree.  Drinking too much &quot;natural&quot; coffee, crushed from a bean, could overtax your heart.  If you&#039;re diabetic, eating too much sugar could kill you.  Cocaine comes from a plant. Pigeon-holing Chinese Herbal Medicine as dangerous is a folly.  It dismisses thousands of years worth of valuable knowledge, skill and proven results, though not &quot;proven&quot; by the Western medical paradigm, in many cases.  Clearly, the use of synthesized drugs, also dangerous when misused, is generally successfully regulated, but that&#039;s mostly because there is a profit in it, as aspect you make mention of. Big Pharm hasn&#039;t found a way to engulf herbal medicine.  Yet.  Let&#039;s keep educating people, patients and skeptics alike.  The more everyone knows, the better.</description>
